Just getting over the agony of another lame showing in your NCAA tournament office pool? Well if you’re still bitter, these five big-time bracket fails should bring some company to your misery. Unless, of course, you were ridiculous enough to end up in this listicle.

Wow. Although hindsight is 20/20 it’s pretty unclear how this guy missed this critical finishing touch. This user was 11/16 on the 2014 Sweet 16 teams, correctly predicted seven of the Elite Eight and three of the Final Four. Yet they forgot to pick a national champion. If only that big red circle of emphasis was there for Corey in the beginning.

Fritos don’t really help your bracket, but they can give you an inside edge in a chili cook-off. If you've yet to experience the culinary apex that is Cincinnati chili topped with corn chips, then you'll never truly understand the mind power this flavor combination can hold.

This one was pretty widespread, but just as crushing to everyone who had Iowa State either making the Final Four or (good lord) winning it all.

In 2014, Warren Buffett created a buffet of excitement by announcing a “Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge.” Sadly, nobody survived the first weekend. Or, that’s what the media machine led us to believe. Deadspin retrieved a Yahoo! bracket that had 32 of the first 32 selections nailed. So what went wrong? This bracket wasn't entered into the contest! How's that for breathtaking, Brad?
