It’s not even noon Eastern Time, yet ladies and gentlemen, and Hugh Freeze is pulling what in essence is the biggest power play and takeover since Hitler.
Don’t take this statement the wrong way folks. Freeze is pulling one of the greatest victories possible ever on National Signing Day and definately in the history of the Ole Miss Rebels who, up until now, only had Archie Manning and Eli Manning to hang their hats on.
There is still a lot of work to be done for sure with this Recruiting Class of 2013, but goodness gracious just take a look at what will be in Oxford, Mississippi, this summer and for the next few years.

Now Rebel fans, don’t think you are going to jump up and win the SEC and the National Title this season. You probably have about two years before that is a reality. But what today has done is put Ole Miss on the map and that is where it need to be to survive the machine that is the SEC.
The thing that makes the LSU Tigers, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs so unique is that they had about 15-20 signees actually start classes as a freshman in January. This means these kids will be up to speed during the spring game and will be able to contribute significantly come September.
Ole Miss will have to wait until July to get this amazing crew of potential and talent on the field which means they will not make huge impacts until probably October and November.
But still, kudos to Freeze and his staff at Ole Miss…
You win.
