Five commitments in one week, and the Georgia Bulldogs are on a roll in recruiting. Jacob Park made his commitment to the Bulldogs this afternoon in a quick decision following his visit and offer this past week. The shifty quarterback is an Elite 11 invitee and has drawn comparisons to the San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick.
I said before #UGA was not done in June, Jacob Park makes commitment #10 for #Bulldogs and 5th of week

Park held offers from many schools around the nation including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. He was also receiving interest from Clemson, South Carolina and Florida. Park was thought to be a long time lean to Virginia Tech and may have ended up there if the big SEC offers from UGA and Alabama hadn’t come.
The Bulldogs have picked up five commitments over the past week. Gilbert Johnson was the first commit of the week, followed by Jake Edwards on the same day. Star running back Nick Chubb followed with a commitment three days later. Malkom Parrish chose the Bulldogs over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets yesterday, and now with the Park commitment, the Bulldogs are really rolling.
The class size will be much smaller than it was in 2012 as nearly all scholarship positions are full and there will be a much smaller senior class this year. The Bulldogs have room for about 24 commitments and a couple of them could come down to signing day decisions.
