It’s pretty fitting that the conference that gets the 2013 College Football season off and rolling is the king of all kings. That’s right folks, the SEC Media Days kick off tomorrow (Tuesday) as everything that will make the conference and the final year of the BCS amazing return to the Mother Ship in Birmingham, Ala. for three days of snippy answers, canned quotes and underselling of talent the media hasn’t seen since Nick Saban last spoke before the BCS Title Game in January.

SEC Commissioner Mike Silve will kick things off on Tuesday around noon central time with an opening address before Will Muschamp and his Florida Gators and Gary Pinkel and his Missouri Tigers take the stage.

The Ole Miss Rebels and the South Carolina Gamecocks follow the Gators and Tigers to wrap up day-one interviews and previews.

But all eyes will be on Wednesday morning. Yes, it will be interesting to see what topics of concern the conference will address from a rules standpoint with SEC Cordinator of Officials Steve Shaw at around 8 a.m. CT.

OK, so maybe that is not the highlight everyone will pack the room for early Wednesday, but rather the appearance of Johnny Manziel and his Texas A&M Aggies as they all meet the press. You just know everyone and their brother is wanting to get their questions in on Manziel’s focus for 2013 and what really happened that led to his leaving or dismissal from the Manning Passing Academy this past weekend.

Mark Stoops and his Kentucky Wildcats can either buy Manziel a beer or can add the QB to the long list that hate him as you know only die hard Lexington media outlets will be the only ones in attendance for their interview session which is at the same time as A&M.

The whole big party will wrap up on Thursday with the Vanderbilt Commodores. Yes, James Franklin and his Commodores will wrap up the evening and not Nick Saban. Personally, don’t you think Saban is a little pissed he didn’t win that draw?

Needless to say, there should be tons of comments and reaction and here is a full schedule of the festivities.
