Rant Sports College Football Top 25 Week 12
Week 11 of the college football season has come and passed and week 12 is forthcoming with top matchups galore. If you are wondering how each conference is shaping up, the coming weeks will be prime for watching and keeping an eye on top teams. It looks like each conference's title contenders are rising to the top of the ranks and the conference title games are shaping up nicely.
The Alabama Crimson Tide keep on winning as the LSU Tigers traveled to take on the mighty Tide and could not come out with a win against the reigning champs. Many people believed this was the last tough test for Alabama until the SEC title game, but there are still a few games left for the unbeaten Tide to fall in as they may already be looking ahead to a national title appearance -- something that seems to doom many teams.
The national title game looked to be Alabama facing off against the Oregon Ducks, but the latter team fell in a heartbreaker on Thursday night against the Stanford Cardinal for the second straight season, 26-20. Stanford is now in the Top 5 once again and it looks like it will have the best chance to play for a national title in the Pac-12.
Rising into the No. 2 spot for the second consecutive week, the Florida State Seminoles are looking like the team that will give Alabama a fight in the national title game. Florida State keeps on rolling through opponents as the ACC seems like no contest to Jameis Winston and the title-hungry Seminoles.
