Since losing two straight games, the UCLA Bruins have won three straight and could still make an appearance in the Pac-12 title game by winning out. On the other side of the field, the Washington Huskies began the year 4-0 before losing three of five and playing themselves out of a conference title. First-year coach Chris Petersen has a lot of work to do, but a win in this one could change things.

Brett Hundley is one of the nation’s top quarterbacks and he was a surefire Heisman contender before the season began. He is starting to get back to his usual form, passing for 2,245 yards, 15 touchdowns and just four interceptions while completing a solid 71 percent of his throws. Jordan Payton has been a big boost in the passing game as Hundley has looked to him for most of his targets, connecting with the junior wide out 53 times for 783 yards and seven touchdowns. Devin Fuller has the next most targets, catching 39 passes for 299 yards and a touchdown while Thomas Duarte and Eldridge Massington are second and third on the team in receiving yards, respectively, while each also has two touchdown catches. Paul Perkins leads the strong rushing attack with 1,071 yards and six touchdowns while Hundley is second with 546 yards and five rushing scores.

Washington might not have the best passing offense in the nation, on paper, but the 107th-ranked aerial attack has been solid when Cyler Miles is on his game. The first-year starting quarterback has passed for 1,249 yards and 12 touchdowns with just one pick while completing 66 percent of his passes. Miles has also rushed for 163 yards and another three scores. The sophomore quarterback has developed a strong connection with junior wide out Jaydon Mickens who has caught 38 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore wide out John Ross leads the team, however, with 371 yards and four touchdowns on just 17 catches this season. Freshman running back Lavon Coleman leads the solid run game with 438 yards and a score as junior Shaq Thompson has 356 yards and two scores on 7.9 yards per touch.

Defensively, the Huskies have been as average as teams come this season. Washington ranks 76th in total yards allowed, struggling mightily in the secondary, while ranking 53rd in points allowed per game. The Bruins have dropped off from last year, ranking 80th in total yards allowed and just 77th in points allowed per outing.

UCLA will travel to Washington to take on the Huskies at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday, Nov. 8. The game will be broadcasted on FOX Sports 1.

PREDICTION: UCLA 24, Washington 31
