Recently coming off a stellar win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the sixth-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils remain on a warpath for greatness. Their scopes are dialed-in and fixed on winning the South. Doing so will punch their ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game, where the Oregon Ducks earnestly await their arrival.

The easiest route to attaining this goal is by winning their next three games. That’s exactly what coach Todd Graham and the Sun Devils have in mind as they head to Corvallis, Oregon this weekend to face off with the Oregon State Beavers, who’ve had a rocky road all season long.

The struggling Beavers haven’t been able to put anything together in weeks. They won their first three game and then fell to the USC Trojans. They tried to regain their composure by edging a close win over the Colorado Buffaloes, but it has been downhill ever since. The Beavers have lost their last four games. With a 4-5 season thus far, they are now in jeopardy of not seeing a bowl game period.

Unfortunately for them, it doesn’t look like their losing streak will be ending anytime soon. Don’t expect the Sun Devils to show any sympathy on Saturday, as there’s no mercy rule in football.

Taylor Kelly and ASU’s offensive weapons are known to pick apart defensive units in the air and on the ground. The Beavers will get a chance to experience this first-hand. Kelly put up three touchdown passes against Notre Dame, and will likely do the same, if not more against Oregon State. Sun Devils WR Jaelen Strong is good at winning battles down field and punishing poor coverage.

Their running backs D.J. Foster and Demario Richard are also quite dangerous. The Beavers are going to have their hands full for certain. When the game is over, ASU will have racked up roughly 45 points, give or take. With the help of QB Sean Mannion and his arm power, the Beavers may score two or three touchdowns. Don’t expect any more than that.

ASU vs. Oregon State Score Prediction: 45-21
