Ohio State is in the College Football Playoff, but they don't belong there. Both Baylor and TCU deserved it more. Here are five reasons why OSU should not be in the playoff.

Overall OSU had a tougher non-conference schedule than TCU and Baylor, but none of their wins were impressive. The biggest win they had outside of Big Ten play was against Cincinnati. The Bearcats won nine games, but it was in the awful Big East. Cincinnati's best win came over East Carolina.

Virginia Tech went to Ohio State and defeated them by two touchdowns. Most years it wouldn't be a bad loss, but Va. Tech was awful this year. They finished 6-6 in the very average ACC. This was by far the worst loss of all the one-loss teams.

The Big Ten was arguably the worst of all the power conferences this year. The only team that had a signature non-conference win was Indiana, and they finished tied for last in the Big Ten. OSU's most impressive victories were over Michigan State and Wisconsin. MSU and Wisconsin's most impressive wins were both over a Nebraska team that lost three games and fired their head coach.

TCU only had one loss all season. That loss was by just three points, it was on the road and it came against a Baylor team that finished No. 5 in the country. They were up by 21 points in the fourth quarter of that game so they should have won, but it still isn't even close to a bad loss. They had one common opponent with OSU in Minnesota, and won more convincingly against them than the Buckeyes did.

Baylor had the most impressive win of the teams that finished 4-6 in the rankings. They beat TCU head-to-head in one of the most exciting games of the season. Their only loss came to West Virginia, which was a solid team this year. WVU lost to Alabama, TCU and Kansas State by just a combined 17 points. Nine of Baylor's 11 wins came by double digits, and they had the No. 1 offense in the country in terms of yards per game.
