The Peach Bowl, also known as the Chick-fil-A Bowl for sponsorship purposes, will be played by the Ole Miss Rebels and TCU Horned Frogs on Dec. 31. Even though there are not many top-named NFL Draft prospects in the contest, there are still several players who could be playing on Sunday’s in the near future. Here are the top five NFL Draft prospects in the Peach Bowl.

TCU outside linebacker Paul Dawson is definitely one of the top players to watch in the Peach Bowl. He’s the only player in college football with at least 100 tackles, five sacks and four interceptions on the season. In fact, no player has achieved that stat line in 14 years. As if the numbers weren’t good enough, he also has two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Dawson must use the bowl game to increase his presence.

TCU’s top cornerback needs to have a big game in the Peach Bowl in order to improve his draft stock. Kevin White recorded 49 tackles, 11 passes defended, two interceptions and one sack in 2014. One of his most dominant performances on the season was against Kevin White of West Virginia. The wide receiver had over 1,000 yards receiving this season, but White held him to just 28 yards on three catches in a 31-30 win.

TCU defensive tackle Chucky Hunter has a great opportunity to move up the draft board with a stellar performance in the Peach Bowl. As decent as his 39 tackles and 2.5 sacks are, they don’t tell the tale about what kind of season he has had. At 305 pounds, Hunter moves well, which includes the strong ability to get off the snap quickly. He’s also great in run defense, something many NFL teams will be looking at in the draft in 2015.

Cody Prewitt is considered to be a top-three free safety in the 2015 NFL Draft. He plays with an incredible amount of passion, which transitions well into his performance on the field. His big-hit mentality will serve him well at the next level. Even better, he knows how to make plays in the open field. His 60 tackles and two interceptions are good evidence of that.

The top draft prospect to watch in the Peach Bowl is none other than Ole Miss cornerback Senquez Golson, who leads the SEC with nine interceptions. His shining moment in 2014 came against Alabama when he intercepted a pass in the end zone to secure the upset win. His size will be one of the main reasons why he won’t be taken in the first round, although his athleticism and raw talent will make him a solid playmaker in the NFL.
