It is not every day the No. 1 high school dual-threat quarterback recruit in the nation drops a shocker on social media the way quarterback Kyler Murray did Wednesday afternoon, but that is exactly what happened.

Murray, who was already committed to Texas A&M Aggies, appears eager to make the jump to the team’s rival school. The Texas Longhorns had Murray and former Texas A&M wide receiver pledge DaMarkus Lodge on a visit.

At first glance, it does not appear to be much of anything. Sure, the Texas A&M fans will not be happy knowing their future signal caller stepped foot on enemy territory. However, it is nothing to fret about knowing he will be tossing touchdowns for them in no time.

Of course, that was until Murray posted a photo on Twitter that is guaranteed to ruin the day of anyone emotionally involved with Texas A&M.

Yep, that is a photo of a Longhorns jersey. And yes, there is no other reason for Murray to mess with the minds of the Aggies other than the fact that this is clearly his way of showing he plans to decommit from Texas A&M and commit to Texas.

Considering Murray’s father, Kevin Murray, played college football for the Aggies, it is hard to imagine the younger Murray would flip sides so easily. It makes it that much more peculiar knowing the Longhorns were never a serious contender to land him in the recruiting process.

Still, the photo does not lie, which is why it is fair to assume Murray has already made his decision to play for Texas.
