The 2015 college football season is still a couple of months away, but the folks in Las Vegas are already trying to handicap the field.
On Monday, ESPN released the betting odds from sportsbook CG Technology which lay out the favorites to win the conference championship in each of the Power 5 conferences.
In the ACC, the Florida State Seminoles narrowly edge the Clemson Tigers as the favorite to bring home the conference championship. Meanwhile, the Ohio State Buckeyes are viewed as a clear favorite in the Big Ten.
The TCU Horned Frogs lead the way in the Big XII and last year’s national runners-up, the Oregon Ducks, are favored in the Pac-12.
As for the always difficult SEC, it is the Alabama Crimson Tide who hold a slight edge over the Auburn Tigers in the eyes of the oddsmakers.
