TV Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 17, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Stadium: Kyle Field

Line: Alabama (-4)

If the Texas A&M Aggies want to break through and become a top dog in the mighty SEC, they have to do one crucial thing — knock off the Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend.

Two reasons why that could happen: (1) Alabama is beatable this year (hence the one home loss). (2) The Aggies get this contest at home.

Two reasons why it might not happen: (1) Derrick Henry can’t be stopped. (2) The Crimson Tide receive so much hype every year because they consistently win the big games — and this is a big game.

The Aggies hold solid wins over the Arizona State Sun Devils and Mississippi State Bulldogs (both were ranked at the time). As for the Crimson Tide, their biggest wins have come against the Wisconsin Badgers and Georgia Bulldogs (both were also ranked at the time).

Texas A&M had a nightmare game against Alabama last year. The proof was a 59-0 shellacking.

Henry will remain in Heisman talks as long as he continues to run wild and if the Crimson Tide capture the W. Meanwhile, QB Kyle Allen can enter the conversation by leading his team to a monster victory.

The only certainty: One College Football Playoff contender will emerge from this game.

I have upset on the mind. So…

PREDICTION: Crimson Tide 32, Aggies 35
