Andre Johnson signs contract extension

Today Andre Johnson agreed to a 2 year, 38.5 million dollar extension making him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. This extension turns Johnson’s deal, which still had 5 years left on it, into a seven year, $73.5 million contract, paying him more than Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Brandon Marshall and Steve Smith. Johnson absolutely deserves this contract extension; he has been nothing short of spectacular in his time with the Texans. The last two seasons Andre Johnson has been just plain dominant turning in seasons of 115 catches for 1,575 yards and 101 catches for 1,569 yards.
