The San Diego Chargers will be ready to take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Currently, the team’s injury list consists of three players guard Tyronne Green, CB Shareece Wright and kicker Nate Kaeding.

The good news for the team is that guard Tyronne Green is probable to return Sunday. Green injured his knee and has been participating fully in this week’s practice.

Nate Kaeding has not been participating in practice all week and is currently out for the game. He visited with a specialist in San Jose two days ago, an Kaeding truly believes that he will be back on the field kicking for the Chargers again this season as everyone believes he is and that is why the team did not cut him this week to make room for the signing of Chris Carr.

Currently, Kaeding is said to be day to day after he strained his right groin in his kicking leg last week during a team practice.

“Luckily, it is more of a hiccup than anything,” he told Michael Gehlken of the UT San Diego. “It’s definitely frustrating and disappointing, especially coming back so strong and healthy from last year.”

Cornerback Shareece Wright who suffered a right ankle injury in the first play of the season against the Oakland Raiders is expected to return for the game against the Denver Broncos. Wright, has improved enough where he can walk without crutches or a protective boot.

Wright and Kaeding are the only Chargers players who have missed practice time this week, and neither is expected to play.
