Another one bites the dust.

The Oakland Raiders have made the decision to waive former number four draft pick Aaron Curry.

After recently activating the injured Curry from the physically unable to perform list, the Raiders have decided to waive linebacker before next weeks game. Curry has only appeared in two games this year, and has managed only one tackle.

Good move?

Not at all, this is their starting linebacker that they are cutting, I agree this is a good move for their future, but this is a sign that they are just lying down for the rest of the season.

The Raiders will lose their fifth-round draft in 2013 to the Seattle Seahawks, as compensation to this trade. It will be interesting to see how Raider Nation reacts to this, and it leads to the question who is next?

Curry has potential that is being destroyed by injury, so overall this was probably the right decision as far as performance and money issues with Curry. The thing that is unsettling is the fact when you have no one else, and they are bad enough already, so what now?

It seems like every week now something will go wrong for the Raiders. The bright side to this is the fact they traded for Curry, only giving up a fifth-round pick, it could have been worse knowing the Raiders and their flimsy ways of handling transactions. As of right now Raider fans, the franchise is hitting the panic button, and it could get ugly.
