Anticipation High for Seattle Seahawks 2013 NFL Season

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks have sold out every home regular season game and all 14 training camp practices as anticipation among the fans for the 2013 NFL season grows. It should be no surprise to the average football fan that the people of Seattle have high expectations for the Seahawks during the upcoming season. It also helps that the team are one of the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

There are still some preseason tickets available for purchase for any fan in Seattle that would like to get a glimpse of the Seahawks this season. However, at this rate those tickets will most likely be gone within days.

The organization announced that a whopping 98 percent of season ticket holders renewed their package for the 2013 season, which is a record for the franchise. Obviously, the season ticket holders from last year would be foolish not to renew if they are able to afford it. The Seahawks made plenty of noise in the NFC last season with all signs pointing to them being a much better team this fall.

With sensational quarterback Russell Wilson expected to reach new heights in his second year in the league and a top-notch defense that will scare the pants off any opposing offense, the sky is clearly the limit for Seattle. There is no question the race in the NFC West will be an exciting one with the Seahawks prepared to make quite the stand in the division.

Seattle opens up training camp this Thursday.
