If the Jaguars have any hope for the future of their franchise, they need to find a new quarterback. Bridgewater is currently the best passer available, which means he’s goes here at No. 1 overall.
As good as Mike Glennon has been, passing on a player like Mariota seems too hard for the Buccaneers to pull off. If anything, they have an above-average backup at quarterback – a rarity in the NFL.
Could you imagine a defensive line that included Clowney and J.J. Watt? If the Texans could get Clowney to play hard, there’s no telling just how dominant that duo could be. Opposing passers would quiver.
One of the Falcons’ biggest problems this season has been a lack of pass rush. With a player like Barr in the mix, they’d immediately upgrade their ability to consistently pressure opposing passers.
The two top quarterbacks are already off the board, which means the Vikings must now reach to grab their passer of the future. Hundley hasn’t been amazing lately, but he’s an über-talented youngster.
Cordy Glenn is a good blocker, but he doesn’t belong at left tackle. The Bills need an upgrade on the blindside, and bringing aboard the best pass protector of the 2014 class makes too much sense.
Even after spending a first-rounder on a tackle last year, the offensive line can never get enough upgrades. Will Beatty isn’t that great, which is why Lewan makes some sense here.
While the Raiders’ defensive tackles aren’t bad, the addition of Nix would bring a whole new dimension to the defense. He’s an absolutely dominant nose tackle who would make life easier for their ‘backers.
The Rams need some line help if Sam Bradford is going to stay healthy moving forward. This is a bit of a reach for Kouandjio, but he’s the best blocker on the board and has plenty of unrealized potential.
The run on offensive tackles continues here for the Steelers, who are upset the top three are already off the board. Erving is a bit of a stretch at No. 10, but their need for pass protection is too severe to ignore.
Despite their recent draft history, the Rams still need more weapons on offense. If Bradford is going to get the job done, adding a dynamic talent like Watkins should be a No. 1 priority in St. Louis.
As promising as Brian Hoyer appeared to be, the Browns can’t assume he’s the answer. Mettenberger has moved his way up draft boards this season, and now becomes Cleveland’s new passer.
Especially with Jonathan Martin unlikely to return to Miami, the Dolphins desperately need some tackle help. Richardson is the best tackle available and appears to be a great fit for their offense.
Clearly Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones aren’t getting the job done. Joe Flacco could do a better job of earning his big contract with a big, physical weapon like Evans to throw to.
Outside linebacker might not be the Titans’ biggest concern, but it’s hard to leave Mack on the board at No. 15. He’s a dynamic difference-maker who would easily upgrade the Tennessee pass rush.
All year long, the Chargers have gotten subpar play from their group of cornerbacks. If they have any hopes of slowing down opposing passing games, they need an upgrade and Ekpre-Olomu fits the bill.
While their secondary has improved as the season has progressed, there are still some concerns moving forward. The free safety position needs to be addressed, and Clinton-Dix is the best safety in the class.
Ravaged by injury, the Cowboys’ defensive line has been one of their weakest links so far this year. By adding Tuitt, they’d be getting a versatile player who has proven himself to be a disruptive force.
Mosley, a Top 10 talent, finally comes off the board. While Demario Davis is a promising young player, the Jets could use an upgrade at other inside linebacker spot and Mosley is exactly that.
The Cardinals can’t continue to pretend that these replacement players are their answer at quarterback. Boyd has had some struggles this year, but he’s a quality passer and the best one on the board.
Since the loss of Brian Urlacher, the Bears’ defense has been a shell of its former self. With Jon Bostic in place, they could add a talent like Shazier to help bring a ferocious group of linebackers back to Chicago.
Jermichael Finley is all but done in Green Bay. While the passing game has other options, the Packers still need a playmaker at tight end. Ebron is the top tight end of the class, so this makes sense.
No matter what way you choose to look at it, the Bengals desperately need help at cornerback. While Roby hasn’t had the greatest of 2013 seasons, he has the potential to be a dynamic cover man.
For years, the Lions have been cultivating a defense with a physical demeanor. Fuller is a tough cornerback who plays the run with tenacity. It seems to be a match made in heaven.
Now that the Browns have their quarterback of the future, they need to find some extra protection for him. With a massive hole at right guard, Richardson looks like a steal here at No. 25.
The 49ers haven’t gotten great play from their cornerbacks this year, and won’t have many of them under contract when the season ends. Verrett is a promising prospect who will contribute immediately.
Steve Smith isn’t getting any younger and the rest of the Panthers’ wide receiver corps have disappointed thus far. Lee is an exciting player who is a huge steal at No. 27.
Since the loss of Aaron Hernandez, the Patriots’ offense hasn’t quite looked the same. They need a compliment to Rob Gronkowski, and Amaro is more than capable of filling the No. 2 tight end role.
Despite their defenses’ sudden success, the Saints could use a boost to their pass rush. Beasley has skyrocketed his stock this season and should rack up sacks early in New Orleans.
The offense has been unstoppable this season, but Denver is still struggling to keep Peyton Manning upright. The interior could use some help, and Jackson has the size/strength combo to excel in the NFL.
After what we’ve seen this season, the Seahawks’ offensive line could use a new right tackle. Ogbuehi has flown under the radar in 2013, but is well deserving of being a first-round pick.
You can believe it if you want, but Alex Smith isn’t the long-term answer for the Chiefs. Andy Reid needs a youngster to mold, and Carr seems to have all of the tools to be an NFL starter in the near future.
