1st Round: Antonio Richardon, OT, Tennessee

With Martin likely done in Miami and McKinnie nothing more than a stop-gap, the Dolphins need a legitimate left tackle who can be a long-term option. With that in mind, Richardson seems to make plenty of sense. A talented blindside blocker with plenty of experience against top-tier pass rushers, Richardson has the physical tools to be a starter in the NFL. He’s a dominant run blocker, but must improve his pass blocking against speed rushers at the next level.

2nd Round: Zack Martin, G, Notre Dame

More than likely, Richie Incognito won’t be back with Dolphins next year after the whole bullying fiasco. Assuming that’s the case, Miami is also going to need to find themselves a new left guard to take his place. Martin is a bulldozing blocker who creates huge holes in the ground game. He played lots of tackle at Notre Dame, but is a better fit at guard considering his lack of quickness. As long as he works on his pass protection, the Dolphins will get a great blocker with Martin.

3rd Round: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa

While Charles Clay has been a pleasant surprise this season, the Dolphins have been without a tight end capable of producing as both a receiver and a blocker. In hopes of furthering their blocking up front, Fiedorowicz makes plenty of sense for Miami. A balanced tight end with good size and strength, Fiedorowicz has spent his entire college career opening holes for his backs to run through. To top it all off, he’s a sneaky receiver who uses his body to make plays down the field.

4th Round: Seantrel Henderson, OT, Miami (FL)

The offensive line rebuild continues here as the Dolphins also need help at right tackle. Tyson Clabo was brought in last offseason to help on the right side, but has been miserable. If they want an upgrade at right tackle, look no further than Henderson. A prototypical tackle with all of the potential in the world, he has been a bit disappointing for the Hurricanes. With a 6’7’’, 345-pound frame and surprising athleticism, Henderson can be a dominant blocker if he vastly improves his technique and discipline.

5th Round: Shamar Stephen, DT, Connecticut

With their top two defensive tackles scheduled to be free agents this offseason, the Dolphins could soon be in need of some extra bodies at the position. Stephen is a solid prospect who does a great job of anchoring against the run. Using his big body and impressive strength, he plugs up gaps well and occasionally pitches in some big tackles. Although he’s not much of a factor as a pass rusher, Stephen should warrant a late-round pick.

7th Round: David Fluellen, RB, Toledo

Fluellen

Neither Lamar Miller nor Daniel Thomas have proven themselves to be legitimate No. 1 running backs so far in 2013. While they already have a crowded depth chart, adding another potential playmaker to the mix wouldn’t hurt. Fluellen has been an extremely productive runner for Toledo and has gotten better every year. He’s far from a sure bet with limited explosiveness and speed, but Fluellen makes great cuts, plays with a high motor and has “sleeper” written all over him.
