Can't trust Andy Dalton

Andy Dalton has been all over the place this season. Just look at last week's four-interception game. Luckily for the Bengals they were playing a banged-up Ravens team and could overcome that. Dalton is an accident waiting to happen; I'd say he's close to becoming a red-headed Tony Romo.

No Geno Atkins

The Bengals have managed without their star in the middle of the defense Geno Atkins. I just wonder if they still won't miss him when they play the top tier teams like the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.

Banged up Tight Ends

Tyler Eifert (neck) and Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) will probably both be back for the Chargers game. Still, you have to wonder how effective they'll be. If the Bengals make it to the divisional round against the Pats, they'll need these guys at the top of their game because you know Aqib Talib will be all over A.J. Green.

Can't be trusted on the road

The Bengals were a perfect 8-0 at home in the regular season. The odds favor them to win against the Chargers this Sunday. After that, the Bengals would have to travel to New England and likely Denver if they make it that far. The Bengals only won three games on the road in the regular season against the Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills and Chargers. Only one was a playoff team. If the Bengals had the No. 1 or No. 2 seed, I might be singing a different tune.

Marvin Lewis

I've been baffled over the years as to why Marvin Lewis continued to keep his job mediocre season after mediocre season. Sure the team has been doing fine the past couple of years, but when you have all of those high draft picks, eventually things will start working out. Then again, there's the Cleveland Browns, so I guess that ruins that point. It's OK because I have another about Lewis and I'm sure Bengals fans will agree. This man makes some of the worst, nonsensical challenges I've ever seen. I don't remember exactly, but I do recall in the playoff game two years ago, Lewis wasted a challenge early on in the game which would have been a difference of four or five yards. If the Bengals blow this first game against the Chargers on something stupid, then Lewis' job should at least be put in question.
