5. Select S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Kansas City has a very good defense, but when you play in a division with Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers, the more defenders, the better. If Kansas City could pair Clinton-Dix, the hard-hitting safety from Alabama, with current safety Eric Berry, it could make wide receivers think twice before coming over the middle against the Chiefs.

4. Select LB C.J. Mosley

Speaking of hard-hitting defenders, another player the Chiefs should consider is Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley. Mosley would fit in perfectly with current linebackers Derrick Johnson, Justin Houston and Tamba Hali. Adding Mosley would give the Chiefs one of the best linebacker groups in the entire NFL.

3. Select WR Kelvin Benjamin

I believe the position where Kansas City needs the most help is wide receiver. Kansas City needs a dynamic receiver who can strike fear into a defense. Kelvin Benjamin out of Florida State could be that type of player. At 6-foot-5 and 235-pounds, he would be a mismatch for most defensive backs, especially in the red zone.

2. Select WR Mike Evans

Another big WR who could be available is Mike Evans from Texas A&M. Everyone knows the numbers that Johnny Manziel put up in college, and a lot of his big plays came from throws to Mike Evans. I believe Evans can be a Demaryius Thomas-type weapon.

1. Trade Up For WR Sammy Watkins

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Chiefs would likely have to trade up in the draft to get the No. 1 WR prospect out of Clemson, but it might be worth it. While at Clemson, Watkins set practically every receiving record in school history. Although at 6-foot-1 he is not as tall as Benjamin or Evans, Watkins is faster and more polished at route running.
