The Johnny Manziel era began with an impressive fourth quarter. Facing a Buffalo defense that had its way with Brian Hoyer, Manziel marched Cleveland down the field for its only touchdown. In a single quarter, Manziel completed 5-of-8 passes for 63 yards, and ran twice for 13 yards and a score.

Colt McCoy proved that he is the best quarterback for the Redskins. In a 49-27 loss to Indianapolis, McCoy completed 31-of-47 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately, the Redskins' defense gave up 370 yards passing and five touchdowns to Andrew Luck.

Down to their third running back, the Colts may have found their feature back in former Ohio State Buckeyes player Daniel Herron. He carried the ball just eight times, but finished with 88 yards and a touchdown. Trent Richardson also carried the ball eight times, but only gained 12 yards.

7. Tre Mason

Tre Mason proved why he's the Rams' running back of the future with a career day against Oakland. He carried the ball 14 times, gained 127 yards and scored two touchdowns. Mason was also a factor in the passing game as he recorded three receptions for 47 yards and another touchdown.

After numerous fourth-quarter collapses, Mike Smith saved his job for another week as his Falcons dominated Arizona. In a 29-18 win, the Falcons offense gained 500 yards and held the ball for more than 37 minutes. As bad as Atlanta has been, they are still in the race for the NFC South crown with New Orleans.

5. Matthew Stafford

After two straight weeks with zero touchdowns, Matthew Stafford got the Lions' offense back on track against Chicago. In the first half alone, Stafford threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns. Stafford finished with 390 yards on 34 completions, by far his best game of the season.

4. Marvin Lewis

Without a timely and illegal challenge by Marvin Lewis, the Cincinnati Bengals' season could have been ruined. Leading 14-13 with less than two remaining, Lewis illegally challenged whether Tampa Bay had 12 men on the field after a big reception, which resulted in a penalty. But, the challenge allowed officials to review the previous play, and it was shown that Tampa Bay had 12 men on the field. The defense sealed the win with a fourth-down stop.

Andrew Luck's fantastic season got even better this week against the Washington Redskins. Facing one of, if not the league's worst pass defense, Luck completed 19-of-27 passes for 370 yards and five touchdowns. Luck now leads the NFL in passing yards with over 4,000 and is second in touchdown passes with 34.

In a 45-21 win, Fitzpatrick completed 24-of-38 passes for 358 yards and six touchdowns, two to DeAndre Hopkins and one to J.J. Watt. Houston is still within striking distance of Indianapolis in the AFC South.

Two years ago on Thanksgiving Day, Mark Sanchez made the infamous "butt fumble." In 2014, Sanchez redeemed himself with an impressive performance against Dallas. In a 33-10 win, Sanchez made 20-of-29 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a score. With the win, the Eagles are now in sole possession of first place in the NFC East race.
