When the Philadelphia Eagles gave head coach Chip Kelly complete control over personnel matters, the logical assumption was that Kelly was given the green light to use as many assets as necessary to move up and get Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota. Eagles fans know all about Mariota, but here are five other guys they should become familiar with before the 2015 NFL Draft.

Anyone who cringed while watching Bradley Fletcher try to cover Dez Bryant in the second game against the Dallas Cowboys knows the Eagles need a cover corner immediately, and Peters would fit that description. Peters, like Bryant, is an immense talent who has had temper tantrums and could potentially fall to the third round.

Fowler is an ideal outside linebacker for the 3-4, and the Eagles have been forced to play a couple of converted defensive ends, Brandon Graham and Trent Cole, at that position. At 6-foot-3, 260 pounds, Fowler has the size of both Graham and Cole but significantly more speed. He has been compared to Khalil Mack, who went in the first round last year.

3. Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville

With 14 interceptions in his career for the Cardinals, Holliman is just the kind of playmaker the Eagles lack in the middle of the field. Picking Holliman would enable the Eagles to finally release Nate Allen, who they are forced to play because they have no other options.

2. DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville

Parker is the kind of guy who can drop to the second round, like Jordan Matthews did last season for the Eagles. He can play either the slot or split out, and like Matthews, he has great hands as he only had three drops since starting for the Cardinals in 2012.

If the Eagles decide the price is too steep to move up to get Marcus Mariota, they could opt for Hundley, who is Mariota Light and fits Chip Kelly’s read-option scheme better than current quarterback Nick Foles. Hundley will probably be around at pick No. 20.
