Looking ahead to the Philadelphia Eagles' 2015 schedule, here are the top five teams they need to beat if they want to have a shot at the Super Bowl.

Even though it was an off year last year, the New Orleans Saints are still a dangerous team. Between Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham and Sean Payton’s offense, there’s still plenty of ways the Saints can give teams fits. The good news is that the Eagles get the Saints at home outside the Superdome, where the Saints struggle. Someone has to take hold of the NFC South, and I still think the Saints are that team.

The Detroit Lions' defense is no joke, especially if Ndamukong Suh returns. Their offense became more lethal with the arrival of Golden Tate and the steady play of Joique Bell. The last time the Eagles and Lions faced off, they were playing on what amounted to a small glacier. While a win is a win, you have to wonder what effect the weather had on the game. Ford Field will make sure that doesn’t happen this time around.

It’s fair to argue that had Carson Palmer stayed healthy, the Arizona Cardinals could've taken the division from the Seattle Seahawks, changing the dynamic of the playoffs. Daryl Washington's return makes their defense markedly better, and with average QB play, the Cardinals could be lethal. This game will be a great indicator of where the Eagles are as a team, and if they want a bye, Arizona could be the game they need to take.

The Eagles get the defending Super Bowl champions on their home field -- yikes. The New England Patriots are certainly the toughest opponent the Eagles get in 2015. While this game might be chalked up as a loss right off the bat, taking this game in Foxboro could give the Eagles that extra win to get them a higher playoff seed and a home game.

Aside from the rivalry and ill-feelings towards this particular franchise, until they’re beaten, the path to the NFC East crown goes through Dallas. The New York Giants and Washington Redskins won't contend yet, so the NFC East will likely be decided in the two games the Dallas Cowboys and Eagles square off in. These teams know each other better than anyone; both games will probably be nationally broadcast and have playoff implications.
