The Carolina Panthers surprisingly won the NFC South title last year despite finishing the season with a 7-8-1 record. It wasn't a pretty division win, and they are looking to rebound this year with a big season and another division title. What five early predictions can be made about the Panthers' 2015 season?

Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams have been a two-man backfield for a long time, but with Williams leaving in free agency this past offseason it is down to just Stewart. He is going to see quite a bit of work in the backfield, and will live up to the needs that the Panthers have with a 1,000-yard season. It isn't going to be easy for him, but he has the talent and assuming he stays healthy will hit the mark.

4. Kelvin Benjamin is a Top 5 Wide Receiver

There aren't many young wide receivers in the game that show more superstar potential than Kelvin Benjamin showed with the Panthers last season. He ended up catching 73 passes for 1,008 yards and nine touchdowns during his rookie season in 2014. Benjamin is looking to take a big leap in 2015 and will end up being one of the top five wide receivers in the NFL.

3. Luke Kuechly Will Win Defensive Player of the Year

Luke Kuechly is one of the leaders for the Carolina Panthers, and is one of the elite defensive players in the NFL. He wasn't happy with the lack of dominance that the Panthers defense showed last year, and will be out for blood in 2015. There aren't many players capable of impacting a game like Kuechly can, and he will take home the Defensive Player of the Year award honors at the end of the 2015 season.

2. Cam Newton Will Be an MVP Candidate

After earning a huge extension with the Panthers this past offseason, Cam Newton has a lot of pressure on his shoulders heading into the 2015 season. Despite the pressure, he will come through with a monster season and will be one of the top MVP candidates in the league. He will put up big numbers both through the air and on the ground, and will lead his team to a very competitive season.

Carolina is without question the favorite to win the NFC South once again in 2015, although they have the Atlanta Falcons to contend with. New Orleans took a big step back by trading Jimmy Graham, and the Buccaneers simply aren't ready to compete yet. The Panthers have a stacked defense to go along with an improved offense, and will end up taking home the division title.

Von Miller Expertly Trolls Cam Newton On 'Saturday Night Live'

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller has been a certified savage since winning Super Bowl MVP last Sunday. On 'Saturday Night Live', Miller expertly trolled Cam Newton during his short skit. Considering how much celebrating Newton did all season, he's going to continue to be on the wrong end of jokes all offseason, and deservedly so.
