There's No Offense Like The Indianapolis Colts' Offense

How good is the Indianapolis Colts offense? With a passing attack ranked first in the league last season and a running back that’s one of the biggest bruisers in the game, the Colts’ offense can be placed in a category between scary good and NFL juggernaut.

What’s even more impressive is they’re only going to get better.

As Andrew Luck throws the ball to receivers like Andre Johnson and T.Y. Hilton, memories of Kurt Warner’s “Greatest show On Turf” and Dan Fouts‘ “Air Coryell ” begin to form. Add in the newly acquired talent of Phillip Dorsett, complemented with Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener, and you have an offense built for the long throws and deep bombs.

Passing game aside, the Colts have a formidable run game currently in the making. Ranked 22 in rushing last season, the Colts went out to solve this problem by signing veteran Frank Gore and offensive lineman Todd Herremans. Both consistent and reliable, Gore and Herremans should immediately improve the rushing attack, making the Colts’ offensive a threat in all facets of the game.

Boasting a hefty offensive line pushing around other 300-pound men while Gore charges up the middle, the Colts have the all around package of passing finesse and running power.

Each year, the Colts move one step closer to the Super Bowl. If the Colts continue to follow the same path, then this season should see Indianapolis in the final matchup of the year. The team is built on a win-now mentality and they will give it their all as they come together for another run at the Lombardi trophy.

Featuring an offense as good as any, it will be exciting to watch the Colts as they ban together to make history, break records and fulfill their quest of capturing football’s most sacred trophy.
