In 2015, things haven't exactly gone as planned for these teams. Roster construction flaws were exposed and things have become clear that changes are needed in 2016. Teams like the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens just missed the cut of the top five squads needing a rebuild this coming offseason if they want to hold the Lombardi anytime soon.

Even if the Giants come out in December and win the dismal NFC East, it has become clear that it is now time for major change in New York. Main cogs like Eli Manning, OBJ and JPP should stay in blue, but countless other changes need to be made. Anywhere from the front office to the scouting department and coaches, a fresh new look is needed in 2016. It should be a "win-now or quickie" style of rebuild.

The Chargers have had a dismal 2015 as they are 3-8 and are going to miss the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons. All this is happening with a quarterback in Philip Rivers who some teams would give an arm and a leg for. So obviously a lot needs to change with the roster. They need to get a good running back, as Melvin Gordon hasn't developed yet as a rookie. One question is where will this rebuild take place? Could it be in L.A. in 2016?

The 49ers were left decimated by players leaving this past offseason, from Patrick Willis to Chris Borland and Anthony Davis. Colin Kaepernick has continued his dramatic decline and the roster is fairly old in some spots. They need to draft a young QB to build around, add playmakers at wideout and just get a complete influx of young, new blood. It's time to start over.

The Browns are in a constant state of rebuild. What do you call a rebuild of a rebuild? Whatever it is, this is it. It's a never ending cycle. Once again, they must try to draft their franchise QB (they better get it right this time). They also have to find reliable playmakers on offense. You can't count on Josh Gordon, and they don't have an every-down running back. The law of averages says they have to get it right one of these times, right?

It's time for the Saints to tear it down in the bayou. It's amazing how the defense can be so terrible year in and year out. They have to strongly consider trading Drew Brees and get some draft picks back in return while he still has some value left as he gets older. Sean Payton should be let go as head coach too. They need a massive overhaul and the regime better start with a defense this time. It was a good run, but it's over.
