Every Team’s Biggest Need Heading Into 2016 NFL Combine

Arizona Cardinals - Defensive Line

The Cardinals don't have one glaring need, but could undoubtedly use some help on the defensive line. Boise State's Kamalei Correa is supposedly high on their draft board.

Atlanta Falcons - Safety

Atlanta's biggest need is clearly at safety, but at No. 17 overall, there doesn't seem to be a perfect fit. Thus, don't be surprised if the Falcons end up going after an edge rusher in the first round, and a safety in free agency.

Baltimore Ravens - Offensive Line

Baltimore needs help at guard, but is unlikely to take one at No. 6 overall. Thus, expect the Ravens to fill that need in free agency or the mid rounds, and instead take someone like DE DeForest Buckner in the first.

Buffalo Bills - Edge Rusher

The Bills were second-last in sacks in 2015 and have parted ways with veteran linebacker Mario Williams, so you know Rex Ryan will lobbying for an edge rusher in one of the first two rounds.

Carolina Panthers - Offensive Line

Denver exposed Carolina's offensive line in the Super Bowl, and rendered Cam Newton irrelevant as a result. Expect the Panthers to target offensive and defensive line in the first two rounds, as well as free agency.

Chicago Bears - Offensive Line

Keeping Jay Cutler on the field is paramount if Chicago intends on competing for a wild card in 2016. Whispers suggest the Bears hope to fill their need at left tackle with Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley.

Cincinnati Bengals - Linebacker

Cincinnati needs to add to its linebacking corps. As talented as Vontaze Burfict is, he's a loose canon and could be out of the league in a few years with the path he's chosen thus far.

Cleveland Browns - Quarterback

With Johnny Manziel expected to be released as soon as the league year begins, the Browns are once again in need of a quarterback. Whether it's Jared Goff, Paxton Lynch or Carson Wentz remains to be seen, but they will take a gunslinger at No. 2.

Dallas Cowboys - Defensive Tackle

Dallas was 23rd against the run in 2015, and undoubtedly needs to beef up at defensive tackle in order to put a halt to the trend. Obviously, the Cowboys must start planning for life after Tony Romo as well.

Denver Broncos - Quarterback

Whether or not Peyton Manning retires remains to be seen, but even if he doesn't, reports indicate he's done in Denver. And Brock Osweiler is a free agent, so as of this moment, quarterback is the Broncos' biggest need. They need help at RT as well.

Detroit Lions - Offensive Line

The Lions were last in the NFL in rushing in 2015, but it wasn't all the fault of their running backs. Expect them to target offensive line early in the draft. Obviously, if Calvin Johnson indeed retires as expected, the Lions will need a receiver.

Green Bay Packers - Defensive Line

B.J. Raji is a gargantuan human being, but he clearly needs help in the trenches, as the Packers were 21st in the NFL against the run in 2015. They need some help on the offensive line as well, but will focus on defensive end or tackle first.

Houston Texans - Quarterback

Brian Hoyer was abysmal in Houston's postseason matchup with Kansas City, and while he had a respectable season overall, he's not the long-term answer. The Texans will likely address the position in both the draft and free agency.

Indianapolis Colts - Offensive Line

The Colts must do anything and everything they can in order to fortify their offensive line, or else Andrew Luck is going to be dealing with a lacerated spleen every season. Indianapolis needs to find a long-term answer at RB as well.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Secondary

Jacksonville needs to get Johnathan Cyprien some help in the secondary if it expects him to blossom to full potential. The Jaguars have been heavily linked to Florida State's Jalen Ramsey.

Kansas City Chiefs - Wide Receiver

Jeremy Maclin was solid in his first season with the Chiefs, and Travis Kelce is an excellent tight end, but Kansas City still struggled mightily in the pass attack in 2015. The Chiefs need a guy who can make plays on short routes after the catch.

Los Angeles Rams - Quarterback

Quarterback. Quarterback. Quarterback.

Miami Dolphins - Linebacker

The addition of Ndamukong Suh did nothing to help the Dolphins against the run, as they finished 28th. Miami has a number of needs on offense, but will likely target a linebacker like Jaylon Smith or Myles Jack in the first round of the draft.

Minnesota Vikings - Wide Receiver

Teddy Bridgewater isn't going to blossom into an above-average quarterback until the Vikings give him adequate weapons in the receiving corps. Minnesota is reportedly hoping to land Corey Coleman or Laquon Treadwell in the draft.

New England Patriots - Offensive Line

The Patriots learned they can't win big with Tom Brady sprawled out on the ground in 2015. New England doesn't have a first-round pick, but will undoubtedly be targeting offensive line in the mid rounds of the draft.

New Orleans Saints - Defensive Line

New Orleans gave up the most points in the NFL in 2015 (476) and must hit on a few draft picks and free agents this year if they want to give Sean Payton and Drew Brees a chance to win another Super Bowl before the latter retires.

New York Giants - Secondary

The Giants gave up the most yards in the NFL in 2015 (6,725), and need help in a myriad of places. Expect the Giants to target defensive line in the first round of the draft, with an emphasis on secondary later on and in free agency.

New York Jets - Offensive Line

The Jets need help on the offensive line, and in particular on the right side. Linebacker is another glaring weakness, so expect them to target both facets of their roster early on in the draft.

Oakland Raiders - Cornerback

With Charles Woodson retiring, Oakland needs an influx of talent at cornerback, as D.J. Hayden has been a bust. Names like Vernon Hargreaves and Mackesnie Alexander have been linked to the Raiders.

Philadelphia Eagles - Quarterback

Chances are, Philadelphia isn't going to overpay for Sam Bradford, and will be in dire need of a quarterback soon. There aren't a number of appealing options available in free agency, so expect the Eagles to target one early in the draft.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Secondary

Pittsburgh gave up the third-most passing yards (4,350) in 2015, and must get that number down to truly compete for a Super Bowl next season. Like Oakland, the Steelers have been linked to Vernon Hargreaves and Mackesnie Alexander.

San Diego Chargers - Offensive Line

Melvin Gordon didn't make the impact in his rookie season that the Chargers hoped he would, but San Diego didn't finish last in rushing simply due to his shortcomings. The Chargers must fix their offensive line this offseason.

San Francisco 49ers - Quarterback

There's no way to truly know what Chip Kelly is thinking during an offseason, but chances are Colin Kaepernick is not going to be his guy at quarterback. Everyone is in love with the idea of University of California's Jared Goff staying in the bay.

Seattle Seahawks - Offensive Line

Seattle didn't give Russell Wilson enough time in 2015, yet he still made plays with due to ability to scramble. The Seahawks should be focused on finally finding a long-term solution at right tackle this offseason.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Cornerback

The Buccaneers probably need help on the defensive line as much as they do at cornerback, but both must be addressed in the draft and free agency this offseason.

Tennessee Titans - Everything Except Quarterback

The Titans essentially need help at every position other than quarterback, so you can expect them to be active this offseason. It appears to be a guarantee that they will end up with Ole Miss LT Laremy Tunsil at No. 1 overall in the draft.

Washington Redskins - Defensive Line

Jay Gruden is an offensive-minded head coach, so it wasn't a surprise to see the Redskins give up the fifth-most yards (6,090) in the NFL in 2015. Washington needs help at every defensive position, but in particular on the line.
