Sidney Crosby Runs Out of Superlatives for Filthy One-Handed Backhand Goal

For all of the excellence displayed by Sidney Crosby over the years, the Pittsburgh Penguins captain may have one-upped himself on Tuesday evening against the Buffalo Sabres.

Even after a natural hat trick on Sunday, Sid found a way to somehow fend off multiple defenders on this end-to-end rush to the net and muscle in a one-handed backhand over the glove of Buffalo netminder Robin Lehner.

But… HOW!? Sid. Is. Spectacular.

Wonders never cease when it comes to this NHL phenom, and the Penguins appear to be peaking just in time for their Stanley Cup defense.
