Eric Karlsson Wins Game 1 for Ottawa Senators on Impossible Angle Goal

By Anthony Blake

The Ottawa Senators seem determined to ride their wave of momentum from the end of the NHL regular season deep into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, as this team housed the Boston Bruins in Round 1 and got off to a great start in their second-round series against the New York Rangers.

Poor Henrik Lundqvist really had no chance on this game-winning goal by Eric Karlsson from a seemingly impossible angle.

Karlsson scored a nearly identical goal against Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard earlier in the month.
