Recently sqw the tweet below from Slam Magazine who called Dakari Johnson and Kasey Hill “refreshing throwbacks” and I definitely agree. The Montverde (FL) teammates have old school skills and even some instincts that are impossible to learn; you are just born with it.

Saw both of these young men play at the National High School Invitational where they took home a national championship; they both impressed me mightily and it will be odd to see them play against each other in the SEC next year. I’m sure they will remain friends who keep in touch though. Apparently Johnson and Julius Randle both engaged in some pick up basketball lately as well so you know that they are helping each other stay sharp in anticipation of the coming season.
