Well, folks. We are now at that loopy part of the day, so here goes and bear with me.
I’ve got a basketball fever, and the only prescription? More cowbell.
All Christopther Walken expressions aside, I really do have a basketball fever, and the prescription will be actually watching it. And oh boy are there some good ones on deck this year.
The one I’m really looking forward to is on November 12th though between forwards Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker. It will be a hell of a showdown, and will make last year’s McDonald’s All American game look like a freaking pony show.

Wiggins old high school coach Rob Fulford certainly thinks Wiggins will be up for the matchup just as he was for the high profile matches in high school.
“When he plays against those guys who are perceived to be at his level, he dominates matchups,” says Fulford to USA TODAY Sports. “It’s an extra motivation that he has.”
Well, that just might give us all extra motivation to watch.
In any case the two will be going at each other the whole night, and it would not surprise me if both players lead their team in scoring and rebounding next season. Almost a month away! It certainly looks a lot closer this side of October does it not?
Let’s get that prescription writ, yo.
