Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones Touch Down in Lawrence, Kansas
Well if you can hear that collective holding of breath it is probably Jayhawk nation waiting to see how point guard Tyus Jones and center Jahlil Okafor’s visit to Lawrence goes. The recruiting pair both have their list down to four schools and the Kansas Jayhawks made both lists, while also getting graced by a joint visit which only three schools will enjoy. Head coach Bill Self has certainly done a solid job of recruiting in the last year as college basketball fans should well know, but if he can pull this off then the Jayhawks will be in title contention for the next two years. Thanks to the tweet below for the update concerning the visit.

For Jayhawks fans though, I would almost think they would be rooting for Self not to be too successful too quickly because then there might be a chance that he jumps for the pros. Even if that did happen though, something tells me every Jayhawk fan in the country would trade having their coach go to the pros for another championship. Although that is a tough one, because Self has been a truly great coach for the Jayhawks and he helped steady the organization after the unexpected departure of Roy williams to Chapel Hill.
