The Duke Blue Devils have a wealth of talent coming next season as a result of their excellent 2014 college basketball recruiting class. It is impressive both with its star power as well as its depth.
Obviously, center Jahlil Okafor and point guard Tyus Jones both come to mind at first and those are the crown jewels of the class, but having players like Grayson Allen and small forward Justise Winslow coming to town as well you have to wonder how many game this Blue Devils’ squad will win next season.
Much thanks to the tweet below for pointing out what they will be able to make happen next season with the glut of skill that is incoming.
Cook, Jefferson, Sulaimon, and Matt Jones as well as newcomers Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor will have Duke playing at high level next year

The huge question remaining this season for the Blue Devils is the decision of Jabari Parker; the forward is not likely to give it any thought until after the season is over, but like the sword of Damocles it will hand over the head of Blue Devil nation either threatening to deliver bad news or ultimate triumph. Sorry to go Poetical on you there, just watching Ancient Aliens and so feeling words of antiquity flowing throw me today. We should find out about Parker probably sometime around late April.
Two more Rant Sports Prep pieces are coming your way today for all you basketball junkies out there, and then if you are still bored be sure to check out my basketball previews for the games that have not yet started today. Thanks for reading as always.
