The Ultimate Warrior Back In WWE

Ever since 2K Games approached The Ultimate Warrior to be in WWE 2K14, the opportunity has opened the door for him to patch things up with Vince McMahon.

Warrior and McMahon have always had a rocky relationship ever since Warrior burst onto the scene in the ’80s. McMahon had high hopes for Warrior as he was tipped to become Hulk Hogan‘s replacement as the top guy in the company. After a few months at the top, McMahon realized Warrior’s work ethic and attitude weren’t up to par.

Warrior was always labelled as a poser as he was never good at wrestling in matches longer than 10 minutes or so. His match with Hogan at WrestleMania VI is often regarded as the only good match he’s ever been in. Warrior became very cocky when he was on the top and demanded a lot of things. McMahon didn’t like all of the things Warrior was requesting him to do, and this led to Warrior leaving the company on two separate occasions.

Warrior’s relationship with the WWE had been sour ever since. It was 2K Games themselves who approached Warrior to be in WWE 2K14, and not McMahon or anybody from the WWE.

It appears his inclusion in the game has helped Warrior’s relationship with McMahon and the WWE. This will likely lead him to being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year, plus he could be open to signing a Legends contract too.
