Real Madrid Thumping Opponents For Fun In La Liga

Real Madrid once again wiped an opponent aside as they defeated Granada by a score of 4-0 on the road. They now lead La Liga by one point ahead of Atletico Madrid, and by two points ahead of Barcelona.

The 4-3-3 deployed by Carlo Ancelotti‘s troops is improving as each game is played. The 3-1 win last weekend over Barca was impressive, but dismantling what was a solid Granada defense on the road — and making it look too easy in the process — finally proves how good this Madrid team is.

Players like Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez, Marcelo and Toni Kroos are the shining stars of this club, and with them all sharing the bright spotlight selflessly is what is allowing them to be so dominant.

One team that may still have their number is Atletico Madrid, but since it is nearly mid-season and they are clicking perfectly, they may be able to defeat them at the Calderon when they meet again in 2015.

The team has showed their versatility with the consistent switching of formations between the 4-3-3 and a customized 4-4-2 which enables them to defend and even counter at an easier level against opponents. The players perfectly understand what Ancelotti asks of them and know that if they want to win it all, they have to play to the beat.

Predicting this team will win La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League is absolutely reasonable, which is why it is an easy one to make. However, for those that truly know about a long and grueling season and how every single match is a different level of difficulty, they would think twice. Regardless, this is a team that can win everything if they stay in shape, shift their style here and there and stay on top of their form.
