There Is No Reason for Real Madrid to Rush Gareth Bale Back
Gareth Bale may start on the bench as he returns to action, but pundits should not take it as a permanent relegation from the starting eleven. Bale has recently returned to full training and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has indicated that the Welshman will be selected for their match against Liverpool on Tuesday. The Madrid boss has not specified if Bale will be starting in the first eleven or sitting with the reserves. The Welshman has missed the last five matches for the Blancos through a hip injury.
There is absolutely no reason for Real Madrid to rush Bale into the starting eleven. In the absence of Bale, Real Madrid are five for five and have turned into a team that looks utterly unbeatable. Isco has filled in brilliantly for the Galacticos and their four-four-two formation has paid off for the men in white.
Ancelotti is well within his right to ease Bale back into his starting role to make sure that the world’s most expensive player is 100 percent fit. The Welshman’s contribution to Real Madrid’s success last season is undeniable and the former Tottenham winger has already scored five goals and five assists in 12 appearances.
Real Madrid have been in scintillating form winning 11 straight games, including a comprehensive victory over Barcelona. The Vikingos have scored 46 goals in that span averaging over four goals a game.
Real Madrid will welcome Liverpool to the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday for the fourth game of the UEFA Champions League Group Stages.
