With 11 games played in the 2014-15 EPL, the standings are starting to take on a more settled look. That's good news for the teams in the upper echelons of the table, but bad news for the teams that are struggling at the bottom. Here are five teams that find themselves on relegation watch heading into week 12 of the Premier League.

Six losses and one draw is the shocking form that has seen Aston Villa fall perilously close to the relegation places. Villa should not be as low as they are, but an inability to score goals is severely hindering the Villans so far this season. A game against an in-form Southampton team may not be the fixture that Paul Lambert would ideally like next up, but it is exactly what Villa have got in week 12.

Crystal Palace have not won for five games now, but they will have a good opportunity to put that straight as they take on a struggling Liverpool in week 12 of the EPL. Palace simply do not have a solid enough defense to rely on to help them win games, and the Eagles will need to start scoring more goals if they are to eventually glide away from the relegation zone.

Leicester City have not won a game in the EPL since week five, with only a single draw in that time also. The Foxes are desperate for a win to stop the momentum that has seen them hurtle into the relegation places after what was initially a positive start to the season.

Queens Park Rangers have been slowly improving in recent weeks, but their upturn in performances has yet to evolve into an upturn in their league position. Newcastle United are the R's next opponents in week 12, though, and a win could see QPR escape from the relegation positions if other results go their way.

Burnley have been on relegation watch since the moment the season kicked off. However, Sean Dyche and his team did manage to get their first win of the season against Hull City in week 11. It will take a few more wins yet, though, before the Clarets can finally begin to look up instead of down.
