Johnny Manziel Foolish to Take Advice From Cam Newton After $7,500 Autograph Allegations

When it rains, it pours but Johnny Manziel has no one to blame but himself. Yet another report against the first freshman Heisman winner says he took $7,500 from a broker for autographed helmets in January. This is just the latest in a slew of allegations against Texas A&M‘s polarizing quarterback, who is in way over his head at this point.

As if the law firm the school hired to protect Little Johnny wasn’t enough, Manziel is now taking advice from Cam Newton.

What?! How dumb do you have to be?!

Newton never should have played a down for Auburn during his trifecta season that included a Heisman Trophy, a national title and the first overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft. Everybody knows he got away with the pay-to-play scheme his dad cooked up with Mississippi State. So now Cam is basically advising Johnny on how to weasel his way out of trouble.

Johnny, here’s some advice: tell the truth and stop acting like a moron. You’re going to go down in flames once you finally get to the NFL — whenever that may be — so why not just come clean now and not delay the inevitable? You need to grow up, dude. You’re giving us Texans a bad name.
