Somehow, the Miami Heat's Norris Cole still isn't quite sure how an inbound pass works.
On Wednesday night, the Miami Heat took the Minnesota Timberwolves in a game that they realistically should have won. However, when the game came down to the wire, the Heat couldn’t muster enough mental toughness to get the job done.
That lack of mental toughness was evidenced by their epic fail of an inbounds pass. With only 39 seconds remaining and down by one point, Norris Cole inbounded to Hassan Whiteside, who passed the ball to Cole. Cole then passed Whiteside the ball out of bounds and gestured for him to inbound it. Except the ball was already in play.
As you can guess, the Heat lost.
