There’s a reason why Andrew Wiggins was selected as the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and the Minnesota Timberwolves should consider themselves lucky for landing such a superstar. On Monday, Wiggins showed us once again why he’s been one of the most exciting players in the game this season by throwing down a monster dunk on one of the league’s top blockers, Rudy Gobert.
As everyone knows, Gobert hasn’t made it easy for his opponents to find the basket this season, but Wiggins managed to throw down not one, but two impressive dunks against the Utah Jazz center. Luckily, Gobert got the last laugh against Wiggins when he tried to throw a third time and the Jazz went on to win the game by 20 points.
Still, we love what Wiggins brings to the table each night and it’s these types of dunks that make us even more excited about his NBA future.
