Getting hit with the ball is a normal part of playing baseball. However, the sequence in which Arizona State‘s Johnny Sewald gets hit by this pitch from Washington State‘s Layne Bruner was magical. Somehow, Sewald spins away from the ball and catches it between his body and elbow, and then casually drops it right into his hand. And he does it so fluidly, as if he meant to do everything exactly that way.
