One of the most powerful dunkers in NBA history tragically passed away on Thursday.

The NBA world received some tragic news on Thursday when it was announced former star Darryl Dawkins passed away at the age of 58. Dawkins spent 15 seasons in the NBA after becoming the first player in league history ever drafted directly from high school to the NBA. “Chocolate Thunder” was known for his thunderous dunks and even shattered two backboards in separate games.
