Conor McGregor Wants Lifetime Ban For Ryan Garcia

Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has taken to social media to express his dismay over Ryan Garcia’s positive test for the banned substance ostarine, suggesting that the boxer should receive a lifetime ban from the sport.

Following his unexpected victory over Devin Haney yesterday evening, the controversy after Garcia’s pre-fight urine samples revealed the presence of ostarine both the day before and on the day of the bout, which he secured via a majority decision.

Garcia reacted to the findings by sending a video on X to explain his reasoning.

Garcia currently boasts a 25-1 professional record but has yet to win a world title. He was forbid to duel for the super lightweight title last month after failing to reach the 142-pound weight limits for that class, clocking in at 143.2 pounds.

The ramifications for Garcia are unknown. However, it appears clear that McGregor believes the WBC should no longer allow him to fight.
