Western Conference Final Prediction
Dallas Stars vs. Edmonton Oilers
The Stars will most likely reach the Stanley Cup Final. The Stars outscored the Oilers and lost only once on the road. A significant rise in the penalty shot is required.
The Stars have far superior goaltending, defense, and forward depth.
On the other hand, the Oilers have Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, two talents. Draisaitl is the league’s top big-game player, with 32 points in 16 playoff games in 2022, 13 leading playoff goals last season in just 12 matches, and 24 points this season in 12 games. The best part is that McDavid has not yet reached his highest level —he has 21 points in 12 matches yet just two targets while shooting 6.3 percent.
