Clemson QB Tajh Boyd Hurt Hip For “Swag Reasons” (video)
Football is a violent sport. Injuries happen all the time. Luckily for the players, pads are worn as a protective measure. The pads help lessen the blow from hits and cut down on injuries. That is, if you end up wearing the pads. If you have the same train of thought as Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, may God have mercy on your soul.
Boyd left last week’s game against Boston College with a hip injury. Hip pads are part of the football uniform. So how did Boyd get a hip injury? He wasn’t wearing his pad. Why was he not wearing his pad that was there to protect him? Swag reasons.
Yes, swag reasons. I can’t not even begin to imagine what that actually means. The injury that Boyd suffered makes him look like an idiot. What kind of swag are you using your hip for on a football field? Boyd is expected to play this week against Maryland so the issue is probably behind him. Long live swag reasons.

Dear goofy-looking Opie Taylor geek,
Go kiss a girl for the first time. You’ll know more about swag then.

It looks like we have an ITG. I know what swag is. I don’t think it takes precedence over staying healthy to help the team thats paying your way to school.
The injury was a strain. If it was a deep bruise or something from impact, I would agree with everything you say. Seeing as how pads don’t help with strains, you just made yourself look not so intelligent for the ones who know what the injury actually was. And on a side note, admitting you do not know what “swag” is pretty much is like saying you are a loser
