Feeling Frustrated: Eagles QB Michael Vick Quits Weekly Radio Show in Philadelphia
Prior to the 2011 season, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick agreed to participate in a weekly radio show on Monday nights that could be heard on WIP in Philadelphia called “The Chickie and Pete’s Player Lounge.” After missing the show the last two weeks, it appears Vick won’t have to worry about making appearances on the show anymore.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com, news broke on Monday that Vick will no longer participate on the radio show–which means he lasted just one show after the Eagles Week 1 win over the St. Louis Rams. Vick was unable to appear on the show two weeks ago after suffering a concussion against the Atlanta Falcons and his reason for missing last week’s show is unknown–so he ended up missing more shows than he actually appeared on.
While this is nothing to make a huge deal about, Rosenthal brings up an interesting point by wondering if Vick’s decision to stop appearing on the show has anything to do with the team’s 1-3 start. It’s no secret Vick and the rest of the organization are feeling frustrated with the way this season has started out considering all of the preseason hype and Rosenthal questions whether or not Vick would still be willing to do the show if things if the Eagles had a better record.
Either way, the most important thing for Vick and the Eagles is to figure out how to get out of this three-game losing skid as they face yet another tough matchup in Week 5 against one of the biggest surprises of the 2011 season in the Buffalo Bills.

Not a big deal at all. I know a big stink will be made from the Vick opposition, but at least the man can focus on football and have one less weekly priority that doesn’t directly pertain to him improving his team.
c’mon its the all thug team what do you expect
GO LIONS!!!!
