Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick became the NFL’s all-time leading rusher for a quarterback on Sunday after a 53-yard run against the Buffalo Bills.
Vick entered Sunday’s game just 71 rushing yards behind former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Randall Cunningham–who rushed for 4,928 yards over his 16-year career. Vick has spent nine season in the NFL and is in the middle of his third season with the Eagles after missing two seasons (2007-08) while serving a sentence for his involvement in dog fighting.
Considering he’s always been known to be quick on his feet, it should be no surprise that Vick passed Cunningham on the all-time list this early in his career. The best part is–Vick should continue to shatter Cunningham’s record considering he signed a six-year deal with Philadelphia prior to the start of the 2011 season.
