  1. Pat Sajak says:

It’s “The Greatest Show on Turf” not “Earth”….this is a sports column? Sheesh….

  2. Bryan Lutz says:

Freudian slip. My bad, Mr. Perfect.

  3. Chuck Henry says:

Johnny Unitas would still be number 2. How about Bob Feller Hall of Fame Player, patriot and person.

Deion Sanders and NOT Roberto Clemente, what the heck were you thinking?

  5. Bryan Lutz says:

    To Eddie,

That’s probably the one I battled with most. At the time of making the list, I felt I had too many baseball folks, since I’m more of a baseball guy. Plus, it’s not like Deion is a slouch. He probably is the best ever at his position.

  6. swampwiz says:

    #97 is wearing a jersey with #27?

  7. Bryan Lutz says:

Roenick was 97 for ten years, but good catch! I noticed it myself after I was finished.

  8. Jim Haacker says:

No way you can pick Bret Favre over Lou Gehrig. Just because you have a lot of Yankees is no reason to overlook Gehrig. Favre was good but Gehrig was great!!!!!

  9. Mick Smythe says:

I would have picked Deacon Jones for 75 and Merlin Olsen for 74. Just sayin’.

  10. CREGO1126 says:

    UMMMMM 4….ORR
