Jeff Gordon – Gordon is another veteran that will start at the back of the field this Saturday. Gordon’s 32nd place start will make him a risky fantasy option.
19. Aric Almirola
Aric Almirola – Doulbe-A will start the Night Race in 10th place. He may not be the biggest name on the circuit, but he can certainly be a worthy sleeper to look for.
18. Greg Biffle
Greg Biffle – Biffle will start all the way back in 29th place, but the veteran can still make some noise on Saturday night. Earlier this year at Bristol, Biffle started back in 24th and still managed to finish in 11th.
17. Jamie McMurray
Jamie McMurray – McMurray has finished inside the top-16 in six of his last seven races.
16. Mark Martin
Mark Martin – Martin is racing in the #14 car with Tony Stewart still on the mend. The car has run great this week and the veteran should do well with an 11th place start.
15. Juan Pablo Montoya
Juan Pablo Montoya – JPM heads to Bristol having finished inside the top-11 in three of his last four races.
14. Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Earnhardt Jr. started 32nd in this year’s earlier race in Bristol and he still managed to climb all the way up to sixth place. Junior will start the Night Race in 19th and another top-10 finish isn’t farfetched.
13. Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick – Harvick’s second place finish last week in Michigan was his first top-10 finish in three weeks. He will start in 15th this weekend, though, so expect him to have another strong showing.
12. Marcos Ambrose
Marcos Ambrose – Ambrose finished fifth here in 2012 and is in the middle of a breakout season.
11. Martin Truex Jr.
Martin Truex Jr. – MTJ has cracked the top-12 in four straight races on this track.
10. Kurt Busch
Kurt Busch – Busch has cracked the top-nine in three straight races. He will start this Saturday night in second, so a fourth consecutive top-10 finish seems very likely.
9. Brian Vickers
Brian Vickers – Vickers will start this year in fourth, and considering that he finished last year in fourth, I would consider him a pretty solid fantasy option this weekend.
8. Joey Logano
Joey Logano – J-Lo has cracked the top-17 in four consecutive trips to Bristol.
7. Kasey Kahne
Kasey Kahne – Kahne won the race at Bristol earlier in the year and has now cracked the top-11 in five of his last six races.
6. Clint Bowyer
Clint Bowyer – Bowyer has three straight top-seven finishes at Bristol, despite not starting inside the top-15 in any race.
5. Matt Kenseth
Matt Kenseth – In his last 16 races at Bristol, Kenseth has 11 top-10 finishes and two victories.
4. Carl Edwards
Carl Edwards – Edwards is the two-time winner of the Night Race. He will start this year in third and will be near the front of the pack all evening.
3. Denny Hamlin
Denny Hamlin – After winning the Night Race last year, Hamlin finds himself on top of the pole this year. He should easily be one of the top drivers selected this week.
