15. Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals

CarsonPalmer
Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals – Palmer has been surprisingly productive this year. He has thrown three touchdowns already and has completed 60.8 percent of his passes. New Orleans obviously has problems defending the ball and Palmer should be able to put together a pretty respectable performance in Week 3.

Week 3 Matchup: @ New Orleans Saints

14. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears

JayCutler
Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears - Cutler has thrown five touchdowns already this year and his 68.1 completion percentage is fifth best in the league. He should have no problems finding the end zone at least once this weekend, but the fact that he has four turnovers already proves that he will always be a threat to turn the ball over.

Week 3 Matchup: @ Pittsburgh Steelers

13. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers

PhilipRivers
Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers – Rivers has thrown an absurd seven touchdown passes through the first two weeks, including four on opening night against the vaunted Houston defense. He faces a Tennessee secondary that has already surrendered four touchdowns through the air, so expect Rivers to stay hot this week.

Week 3 Matchup: @ Tennessee Titans

12. Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins

Robert Griffin III
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins - RG3 has gained a good deal of attention by the media this week for his poor mechanics, but he still threw three touchdowns last week and added 320 passing yards. Griffin should once again be throwing the ball all game to keep up with Detroit, so fantasy owners can expect another big passing day.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Detroit Lions

11. Eli Manning, New York Giants

EliManning
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Eli Manning, New York Giants – Manning is coming off a miserable four-interception performance last week, but he still threw for 362 yards and one touchdown. Manning will bounce back this week against a Carolina team that is allowing 293.5 yards per game.

Week 3 Matchup: @ Carolina Panthers

7 of 16

10. Tom Brady, New England Patriots

TomBrady
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Tom Brady, New England Patriots – Brady has been a shell of his former self this season. He has only thrown three touchdowns through two games and is averaging just 237 passing yards per game. Now factor in that Tampa Bay’s defense is allowing just 255 yards per game and Brady will once again have problems finding his receivers this Sunday.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

8 of 16

9. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

RussellWilson
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks – Wilson has started slow in the first two weeks of the season, but is still 2-0. He should have a much easier time running the read-option against the Jags and finally have his first multi-touchdown game of the year.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

9 of 16

8. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

CamNewton
Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers – Newton has been a mess so far for fantasy owners. He has only scored three touchdowns, while averaging 177 passing yards and 25.5 rushing yards per game. He should finally have a breakout game this week though as he faces off against a New York defense that has given up four touchdowns through the air and has allowed 275.1 passing yards per game.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. New York Giants

10 of 16

7. Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

MichaelVick
Jeffrey Pittenger-USA TODAY Sports

Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles – Vick has shocked the world by scoring six touchdowns in the first two games. He is also completing 62.3 % of his passes and is coming off an insane 428-yard passing effort against the Chargers last Sunday. He is running Chip Kelly’s offense to perfection and should keep it going against Kansas City on Thursday night.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Kansas City Chiefs

11 of 16

6. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers

ColinKaepernick
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers – Kaepernick went from 412 passing yards and three touchdowns in Week 1, all the way down to 127 passing yards and three interceptions in Week 2. However, last week he had the unfortunate task of facing Seattle’s top-tier defense. Kap should have a much easier time this weekend against an Indy defense that is allowing 385 yards per game.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Indianapolis Colts

12 of 16

5. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

DrewBrees
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints – Brees has been rather erratic this season, despite having head coach Sean Payton back in control of the offense. Brees has thrown three interceptions already this season and the perianal Pro Bowler has only thrown three touchdowns. He will face off against a very aggressive Arizona secondary, so expect him to at least turn the ball over once this week. Brees will throw a couple touchdowns as well, but the tough defense will once again frustrate the All-Pro quarterback.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Arizona Cardinals

13 of 16

4. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

MattStafford
Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions – Stafford has a dream matchup this week, as Washington hasn’t been able to stop anyone defensively this season. The quarterback should have no problem amassing his second 300-yard performance of the season and a couple touchdowns seem almost guaranteed.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. New York Giants

14 of 16

3. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons

MattRyan
Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons - Ryan is averaging 339 yards per start and is completing 71.6% of his passes. He has continued to rack up big numbers without WR Roddy White being completely healthy and Ryan will keep up his torrid pace against a Miami defense that is allowing 305 yards per game through the air.

Week 3 Matchup: @ Miami Dolphins

15 of 16

2. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

AaronRodgers
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers – Rodgers continues to pick apart defense after defense, as he has shockingly thrown for 813 yards and seven touchdowns this season. No secondary has been able to tame A-Rod this season, so expect another elite fantasy performance from #12 in Week 3.

Week 3 Matchup: @ Cincinnati Bengals

16 of 16

1. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

PeytonManning
The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos - Manning averaged 324 yards in his two games against Oakland last year and tore the team apart. Manning has looked much better this year with the addition of Wes Welker and he should easily add 300 yards with three touchdowns on Monday night.

Week 3 Matchup: vs. Oakland Raiders
